Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Zeit nach all dem Packen, Organisieren und den Märkten auch mal wieder ins

Studio zu gehen und kreativ zu werden. Meine sehr nette Standnachbarin auf

dem Alsterdorfer Weihnachtsmarkt hat mir alte Familienfotos mitgebracht,

die sie sonst weggeworfen hätte. Entweder, weil sie gar nicht weiß, wer das

auf den Fotos ist oder sie die Fotos doppelt haben. Da sie gesehen hat, was

ich mit solch alten Fotos anstelle und wie ich sie zu neuem Leben, eine

ihnen vielleicht bis dahin völlig unbekannten Existenz gebe oder Leben in einem

Paralelluniversum verschaffe von dem sie nicht mal zu träumen gewagt hätten

(die Fotos), fragte sie mich, ob ich sie vielleicht haben wollte.

UND OB ich das wollte!!! 

An alle da draußen, die meinen alte Fotos, Kartei-

karten, Schriftstücke mit schöner alter Schrift oder ähnliches ausmisten zu

wollen... HIER find sich ein überaus dankbarer Abnehmer, der sich wie blöd

freut neues Futter für neue Collagen zu bekommen!!!

Hello everyone,

After all that packing, organizing, and the markets its time again to go
to the Studio and be creative. My very nice booth neighbor on
the Alsterdorfer Christmas market brought me old family photos,
she would have otherwise thrown away. Either because she did not know who that
is in the photos or have the photos twice. Since she has seen what
I do with such old photos and what kind of new life,
maybe give them a completely unknown existence or life in a
Paralelluniverse from which they would not have even dared to dream off
(the photos), she asked me if I wanted them maybe.
YOU BET I wanted them badly !!
To everyone out there who wants to clean out old photos, index cards, 

documents with beautiful old fonts or similar ....

... HERE is a very grateful customer, who gets totally
crazy about fodder for new collagen!!!

Deshalb mal ein paar behind-the-scenes Bilder, um zu zeigen wie aus alten

Fotos neue Collagen entstehen. Dazu habe ich zunächst mal Untergründe

vorbereitet und dann sehen wir mal weiter....

Therefore a few behind-the-scenes pictures to show how out of old
photos new collages become. To this end, I first created a few backgrounds.

Als Christiane von bikelovin mich fragte, ob ich Lust hätte beim

Bloggerpoesiealbum mitzumachen und mich dort auf einer 

Doppelseite zu verewigen, habe ich natürlich sofort JA gesagt.

As Christiane von bikelovin asked me if I would like to 
join the blogger poetry album and create a  
double side, I naturally said YES immediately.

Und dann kam das Paket randvoll mit den tollsten Dingen.

Einmal natürlich das Buch selbst, aber noch ein Schächtelchen

mit allerlei wundersamen Dingen und ein Mappe mit Papieren,

Landkarten, alten Werbeseiten etc. Das reinste Schlaraffenland

für einen Collagisten wie mich!

Once, of course, the book itself, but still a little box
with all sorts of wondrous things and a folder with papers,
Maps, old advertising pages, etc. The purest cockaigne
for a collagist like me!

Erstmal natürlich all die anderen fertigen Seiten der bisherigen

Teilnehmerinnen begutachten und das lohnt sich auf jeden Fall,

Ich habe erstmal das komplette Material gesichtet, verliebte

mich in die Ergee Ballett Strumpfbeine und wusste, was 

ich wollte... und das passende "Oberteil" war dank meines

Flohmarktfundes (Das grosse Tierlexikon, siehe oben) von Sonntag 
dann auch bald gefunden.

I first spotted the complete material, fell
in love with the Ergee ballet stocking legs and knew what
I wanted ... and the matching "upper part" was found soon
thanks to my fleamarket discovery 
(The Great Animal Encyclopedia, see above) from Sunday.

dc UPSIDE DOWN

UPSIDE DOWN heißt das Thema das die wunderbare und 

sehr talentiere Patrice diese Woche ausgesucht hat.

Für mich bedeutet "auf dem Kopf stehen" in der Kunst vorallem mal

die Perspektive zu wechseln, die Proportionen durcheinander zu bringen

und auch mal das Absurde zu wagen und im Grunde handeln die meisten

meiner Collagen von diesem Thema...

Eigentlich wollte ich ein Bild dazu malen, aber das Wetter ist zu schön,

deshalb hier eine digitale Skizze von dem Bild, was mir 

eigentlich so vorschwebt... Mit einem Kopfsprung in eine verkehrte Welt, 

wo die Farben auch komplett schräg und unnatürlich sind.

Naja, und vielleicht male ich dieses Bild ja auch mal wirklich....

Sonst gibt es noch diese beiden gemalten Bilder 

einmal ziemlich klein und das andere groß.

To me, "upside down" in art above all means
to change the perspective, to bring the proportions messed up
and sometimes to venture the absurd and basically most
of my collages are of this topic ...

 
Actually I wanted to paint a picture, but the weather is too nice
so here is a digital sketch of the image, which I actually just envision ...
With a plunge into a topsy-turvy world where the colors also  

completely oblique and are unnatural.
Well, and maybe I really paint this picture also sometimes ....

 
Otherwise, there are these two pictures painted once  

quite small and the other times large.

dc CRYSTAL

Diese Woche hat uns die überaus beliebte Norma zum Thema "CRYSTAL" eingeladen, 

das sich durch das Suchen und Finden "ihres" grünen Kristalls  magisch ergeben hat.

"Illustrae" kommt aus dem Lateinischen und bedeutet "Erleuchten". 

Beim Illustrieren reflektiert man nicht nur die Wirklichkeit, man schafft etwas Neues, 

schenkt der Welt eine neue, eigene Sicht, quasi kleine "Erleuchtungen" im Alltag.

Dieses Jahr hab ichs mit Vögeln, zeichne sie in mein Skizzenbuch (zeige ich demnächst) 

und beim Thema "CRYSTAL" wollte ich gleich einen Sticken. 

Wieso? Weiß nicht, vielleicht, weil ich zu meinem eigenen Erstaunen festgestellt habe, 

als ich das Werk "Fuck" gestickt habe, dass es mir Spaß macht, was ich von einer 

solchen Handarbeit zu allerletzt erwartet hatte. Aber so wars. 
Und! Irgendwie gefällt mir die Kombination von Zeichnung/Malerei 
und Sticken, Nähen etc., Collage - mixed media eben.

Deshalb der Vogel der einen Kristall gefangen hat oder vielleicht läßt er ihn auch nur wie ein Luftballon fliegen, 
wer weiß. Die Erleuchtung (illustrae) verleiht der Fantasie flügel und 

der Vogel schwebt sowieso über allem - ich finde, das passt zusammen. Was meint Ihr?

Ich freue mich schon auf alle Eure "Erleuchtungen", die auf Normas blog zu finden sind.

This week the most popular Norma invited us on " CRYSTAL " , which has emerged 

magically by searching and finding "her" green crystal." Illustrae " comes from Latin and means " Enlighten " . 
 When you illustrate you do not only reflect the reality, 
one creates something new, give the world a new, own view  

of the world, simply small  "enlightments " in everyday life.

This year I'm drawn to birds, drawing them in my sketchbook ( I will show soon) 
 and the topic of  "CRYSTAL "made me want to do an embroided one.  
Why ? Do not know, maybe because I 've found to my own surprise , 
as I have embroidered the work  "Fuck" 

that I enjoy what I had last of all expected from such a manual labor.  
But that 's it.  And ! Somehow I like the combination of drawing / painting 
and embroidery, sewing etc. , sort of collage - mixed media.

Therefore, the bird had taken a crystal or maybe he lets him just like a balloon fly, 

who knows. The enlightenment (illustrae ) gives the imagination wings and the 

bird hovers over everything anyway - I think it fits together.

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

genug gesungen, Zeit mal wieder zu bloggen.

Die wundervolle und sehr talentierte Patrice hat diese Woche zum Thema Tattoo eingeladen.

Über "tribal art" und Körperbemalung bin ich zu dem Bild (gestern) gekommen.

Hello everyone,sung enough , time to blog again.The wonderful and talented Patrice invited this week on tattoo.About " tribal art " and body paint I 've come to the picture ( yesterday).

Dann dachte daran, dass man beim Tattoo die Haut verletzt mit kleinen Nadeln 

werden Löcher in die Haut gepikst und es fliesst Tinte in diese kleinen Ritzungen.

Deshalb habe ich dem nächsten (Familien)-Foto erst ein paar Piekser versetzt...

Then thought that the tattoo will hurt the skin with small needles pricked 

holes in the skin and ink flows in these small carvings .Therefore, I have the next (family) photo - pricked a little ...

... und dann Farbe in Form eines Stickfadens durchlaufen lassen.

Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass diese Tätowierungen den Fokus noch stärker auf die Schönheit des Gesichtes lenkt und auch die Stärke!

Unsere heutige "Kriegsbemalung" liegt in vergleichsweise unscheinbaren Make-up die wir im Grosstadtdschungel zur Schau tragen, was uns lange nicht so stark und unabhänging macht wie die "tribal art"-Bemalungen und die Männer müssen sogar ganz ohne auskommen.

Ist doch eigentlich Schade, wir sollten uns wieder mehr trauen, finde ich.

Für mehr mutige, ungewöhnliche und kreative Ansätze zu diesem Thema 
nicht vergessen bei Patrice vorbeizuschauen!!

What struck me that these tattoos even focuses more attention 

on the beauty of the face and the strength !Our today's " war paint " is comparatively inconspicuous make-up we wear in the 

big city jungle which doesn't make us as strong and independed as the 

"tribal art" paintings and men have to even go totally without any.Is it really bad , we should again be more brave, I think.

For more bold, unusual and creative approaches 
to the subject not forget to stop by Patrice !

dc HOMMAGE + a Winner!

Die dc dreht sich diemal um "Hommage" ausgedacht von der überaus talentierten Kristen - danke für dieses schöne Thema!

Dort findet ihr natürlich wie immer alle anderen kreativen Hommages.

Meine Hommage geht an Maria Sybilla Merian eine Künstlerin und Naturforscherin, die 1647 - 1717 gelebt hat und die im Alter von damals grottenalten 52 Jahren als Frau! allein mit ihrer Tochter die abenteuerliche Reise nach Surinam unternahm, um dort weiter an ihren geliebten Naturstudien über Schmetterlinge, Insekten und anderem Getier zu arbeiten. 

Wohlgemerkt ganze 100 Jahre VOR Alexander von Humboldt! 

Der natürlich viel bekannter ist, aber das ist nochmal ein ganz anderes Thema.

Sie wird auch die nächste für meine "Reihe" über "Great Women" sein.

Für die drawing challenge wollte ich sowas wie ein fiktives Tagebuch ihrer Reise machen (natürlich nur auszugsweise) und habe mir dafür extra Bütten-Aquarellpapier gekauft, musste aber feststellen, daß die Oberfläche so rauh ist, dass man nicht wirklich gut drauf Zeichnen kann, also habe ich mich in Encaustic versucht... Da ich keine Ahnung von der Technik habe, fand ich es nicht ganz einfach und war auch kurz davor aufzugeben und eben auf normales Papier zu zeichen, basta. Aber ich habe durchgehalten und so schlecht ist das Ergebnis nicht geworden, denke ich. Es sollte eben alt, verwittert und einen bisschen abgenutzt von der abenteuerlichen Reise aussehen.

For the drawing challenge I wanted something like a fictional diary of her trip (of course only in parts) and have specially bought this mold-made watercolor paper, but found that the surface is so rough that drawing was nearly unpossible on it, so I tried on Encaustic ... Since I have no idea of ​​the technique, I did not find it easy and was also on the verge of giving up and just to draw on plain paper. But I persevered and the result is not so bad, I think. It should just look old, weathered and a bit worn out by the adventurous journey.
