Fisch am Freitag - im Studio

Lang ists her, daß ich bei Fisch am Freitag bei Andiva mitgemacht habe

und heute melde ich mich zurück mit einem Ölgemälde, sozusagen

"Hering in Öl".

Long time ago that I have participated in fish on Friday at Andivas'
and today I am back with an oil painting, so to speak,
"Herring in oil".

Als "Palette" nehme ich Einweg-Pappteller, das finde ich ganz praktisch.

Aber manche Leute nehmen auch Glasplatten als Palette, das muß ich vielleicht

auch mal ausprobieren. Ich bin nicht sonderlich versiert in Ölmalerei, deshalb

wollte ich das einfach mal ändern. Allerdings weiß ich nicht, wie Leute es 

schaffen zu Malen, ohne die Hände komplett eingeschmiert zu haben?

As a "palette" I take disposable paper plates, which I find quite handy.
But some people take glass plates as a palette, I must perhaps
try sometimes. I am not very well versed in oil painting, so
I wanted to change that. However, I do not know how people
paint without having their hands completely smeared?

So sehen sie nun aus die Heringe in Öl auf rotem Flauschteppich.

So you can now see from the herring in oil on red fluffy carpet.

Und hier der Ort des Geschehens. Wer schon mal Ausschnitte meines
Studios gesehenhat mit ordentlichen Kästen etc. und meint, ich wäre
sehr ordentlich wirdseine Meinung jetzt wohl schnell ändern müssen. 

Äh, und es geht natürlich ohne weiteres noch chaotischer.

with ordinary boxes etc. and thinks I would be very tidy 
has now probably an opinion to change his mind quickly.
Uh, and it is of course  easy to be even more chaotic.

Fisch am Freitag und die Sonnenfinsternis - update

Heute ist es wieder soweit, es ist Fisch-am-Freitag-Tag,

hier gibt es mehr davon zu sehen.

Und wie es aussieht, wenn der Fisch am Freitag auf die

Aber grosse Ereignisse werfen ihre Schatten voraus,

denn heute ist der grosse Tag der partiellen Sonnenfinsternis.

Wir hier im Norden kommen mit ca. 80% Abdeckung sehr

gut weg. Wers zappenduster will muß auf die Faroer-Inseln.

But great events cast their shadows before,
because today is the big day of the partial solar eclipse.
We here in the north come with about 80% coverage very
well away. Who likes it completely dark has to go to Faroe Islands.

Uns wurden auch jede Menge Wolken prophezeit ☹, 

aber glücklicherweise ist bisher der Himmel wolkenlos ☺ YEAH!

Und ich habe keine Schutzbrille - wegen der Wolken ☠☹!

Egal, ich freu mich!

Und dann kamen fette Wolken aus dem Nichts - sie waren auf einmal da

Then fat clouds came out of nothing - they were just there

bisschen Wolken bei ner Sonnenfinsternis sind ja ganz gut,
wenn man keine Brille hat.
Bisschen und NICHT TOTAL BEWÖLKT, DASS MAN REIN GAR NICHTS MEHR SIEHT!
Wie ich es manchmal hasse, wenn die Meteorolügen recht haben!

How I hate it sometimes when the meteologist are right!

.... ich kann das erklären!

Sofern ein Rochen ein Fisch ist? Ja, tun sie zu den sogenannten

Knorpelfischen. Na, dann! Ist doch alles klar.

Is a stingray a fish? Yes, they are the so-called
cartilaginous fish. Well then everything is clear!

Damit bin ich noch längst nicht fertig und manche Produkte gibt es auch
schon nicht mehr, aber die kann ich auf jeden Fall nachproduzieren,
wenn ihr eins davon vermisst und unbedingt haben möchtet!

So I'm far from  being finished, and some products are also
no longer available, but I can reproduce them in any case,
if you missed one of them and want to have it!

Das Wetter soll am Wochenende ja toll, sonnig und frühlingshaft werden,
da kann man dann nicht nur die Produkte besser fotografieren, sondern
endlich wieder auf den ersten Flohmarkt der Saisaon gehen (lechz)
und das Leben geniessen.
Das wünsche ich euch jedenfalls allen!

The weather on the weekend is supposed to be great, sunny and spring-like,
so its much easier to make good photos of the produkts,
but can go to the first fleamarket of the season again (crave) and enjoy life.

This time I have made a trip in the direction
of Vintage Fish postcards.

Hallo, 

Freitag ist Fischtag bei Andiva.

Deshalb hierzu aus meinen Skizzenbuch (ja, ja noch ist der Wille da)

mein heutiger Freitagsfisch, diesmal mit lustigen Karnevalspunkten.

Das habe ich mir nicht ausgedacht, der sieht tatsächlich so aus.

Der kleine ist übrigens ausgeschnitten und eingeklebt, der Große gemalt.

Therefore this from my sketchbook (yes, yes the will  is still there)
my current fish (Friday), this time with funny carnival points.
I have not thought that up they actually looks like this.
The small one, is cut out and glued,  the Great one painted.

Fisch am Freitag

Hallo, 

it's friday again und deshalb Zeit mal wieder 

beim "Fisch am Freitag" bei Andiva teilzunehmen. 

Für dieses Jahr habe ich mir vorgenommen mehr im Skizzenbuch 

zu arbeiten und vielleicht auch so ein bisschen Art Journaling zu betreiben,

was mich immer sehr fasziniert hat, aber ich nie wirklich einen Zugang 

zu finden konnte. Vielleicht klappt's ja diesmal?

Dabei ist mir diese schon etwas ältere Fisch-Seite wieder in die

Hände gefallen und ich dachte, ich zeig sie Euch einfach mal,

weil sie mir eigentlich immer noch ganz gut gefällt.

it's friday again and therefore time again
  to participate at Andivas' "Fish Friday" .

This year I'm aiming to work more in my Sketchbook
  and perhaps, to have as a little way art journaling,
what has always fascinated me, but I never really
could dive into it. Maybe it'll work this time yes?

 
That reminds me on this older fish this page which
fell into my hand  and I thought I'll show you,
because I actually still quite like it.

Klementine und die Meerjungfrau

Heute ist wieder Fisch am Freitag bei Andiva, bei mir heute

nicht nur sauber, sondern rein!

Today, fish is again on Friday at Andiva, with me today
not only clean, but pure!

Wer Lust auf mehr Fische hatte, sollte unbedingt bei Andiva vorbeischauen und
wer Lust hat sich selbst mit dem Thema zu beschäftigen und bei unserer
drawing challenge mitzumachen, der kann sich noch schnell bei Sabine anmelden
oder guckt dort einfach am Wochenende, was alles tolles zum Thema Fisch zusammen
kommt!

Fisch am Freitag - fish on friday

Heute ist wieder Fisch-am-Freitag-Tag bei Andiva,

diesmal ein Fisch, den ich vor einiger Zeit mal zeichnete

mit Buntstift, blau gemaltem Hintergrund und Filzstift

Unterwasserlandschaft.

Today is another fish-on-Friday-day at Andiva,
this time a fish that I drew some time ago
with colored pencil, blue painted background  

and felt-tip pen underwater landscape.

Und natürlich mein Fisch-Geschirr vom Flohmarkt, 

daß ich einfach mitnehmen musste! 

Höhere Gewalt sozusagen, 

auch wenn ich natürlich gar

kein Geschirr brauchte, ist ja klar oder? 

Und dann noch Handwäsche, pffft, also wirklich!

And of course my fish dishes from the fleamarket that I simply
had to take! Acts of God, so to speak,
although of course I do
not need any dishes anymore right?
And then hand wash, pffft, really!

Aber wie heißt es im Norden so schön? Wat mut dat mut!

Freitag ist eine schöne Sache, allerdings nicht, wenn man dabei die Tiefsee

zerstört wie ihr hier sehen können, gefunden über penelope-jolicoeur,
