long time ago my sketchbook for arthouse sketchbook project 2011

I still regret that I send the original, because I lost all my scans through

a major computer crash and therefore I'm lucky that this shaky video still

exists.

Hallo,

mixed media in my sketchbook

I have not thought that up they actually looks like this.

Muster-Mittwoch - pattern wednesday

Its pattern-wednesday at  Michaelas' again and here phew rather pattern-thursday ...
Because the fungi sprout in the forest from the ground, this time MUSHROOMS,
drawn with colored pencil (Editor's note: the paper in my
Sketchbook is too rough and therefore sh ...  rather unsuitable for pencil,
therefore it took so long).

dc moon

This weeks drawing challenge theme MOON hosted by the talented Patrice evokes so many ideas and pictures like the man in the moon, wolfes and werwolfes houling at the moon, Wallace and Gromit taking their crakers and go with their rocket to the moon, because he is made of cheese (see post before) and last but not least the famous moon landing... what an incredible adventure, especially if you watch old docus about it and see the old computers you hardly believe they could manage it with them, hihi.
What if oneself could walking on the moon, what would it like and how would it be?
Well...  (that little girl on the moon, that's me... many moons ago ;) )

After life's distractions like moving  and all other demandings that life has to offer, I'm in search for my working-artist-groove again. So I thought I'm going to make at least one piece (artwork) a day ... I find a sketchbook is a good place for that, it is liberating not to think about if its going to be good or bad or if you can exhibit it and what the audience may think about it. I can do whatever I like and in whatever mood I'm right now, just playing around. That's freedom and I like it.
Here some pages I made lately.
Have fun

work(floor)desk wednesday

Hi everyone out there - is it also grey, rainy and ugly in your place? I guess November needs a littlebit of colour and chaos, so here we go...

startet a little mass production of little canvases... not knowing what to do next with them

here some pics of my desk for those of you thinking I've always a neat and organized desk (HAHA)

... and a peek inside my sketchbook with yesterdays amusement

Wish you all a colourful week - and if the outside wont play this role, go paint your world like you want it to be.Barbara

I'm digitized!

I'm so excited, got a mail from Arthouse that my Sketchbook is now digitized.

It's so exciting, as you would a long lost "Baby" suddenly see again and you think "Wow, I've done everything?"
