Collage-Workshop bei Boesner in Hamburg

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

aufregende Neuigkeiten! Ich gebe im September meinen ersten

Collage-Workshop bei Boesner in Hamburg!! YEAH - so aufregend.

Wer also schon immer mal Lust hatte mit mir zusammen Collagen

zu machen und mir persönlich auf die Finger gucken wollte, wie 

meine Collagen entstehen, der hat jetzt dazu Gelegenheit.

Und natürlich geht es dabei nicht um mich, sondern darum selbst

kreativ zu werden und seine eigenen Geschichten mit Collagen zu

erzählen und einfach mal nach herzenslust in den Prozeß des

Finden, Experimentieren einzutauchen und sich einfach mal auf

eine spannende Entdeckungsreise der künstlerischen Möglichkeiten

einzulassen.

Der Kurs findet am 17. September 2016 von 11 bis 15 Uhr statt.

Klementine und die Meerjungfrau

Heute ist wieder Fisch am Freitag bei Andiva, bei mir heute

nicht nur sauber, sondern rein!

Today, fish is again on Friday at Andiva, with me today
not only clean, but pure!

Wer Lust auf mehr Fische hatte, sollte unbedingt bei Andiva vorbeischauen und
wer Lust hat sich selbst mit dem Thema zu beschäftigen und bei unserer
drawing challenge mitzumachen, der kann sich noch schnell bei Sabine anmelden
oder guckt dort einfach am Wochenende, was alles tolles zum Thema Fisch zusammen
kommt!

Muster-Mittwoch - pattern wednesday

Bei Michaela heißt es wieder neuer Monat, neues Thema: diesmal 

"Angelköder"

Als Hamburger (auch Fischköppe genannt) kennen wir uns damit natürlich aus.

Wir mögen Fisch, auf dem Teller, im Kutter, an der Wand und in der Hand,

immer ein gern gesehenes Thema.

At Michaelas it is again new month, new theme: this time
"Fishing lures"

As a Hamburger (also called Fischköppe) we know something about this.
We like fish on the plate, in the cutter, on the wall and in hand,
always a gladly seen topic.

Ich mag die Schleierschwanz-Goldfische sehr gern und 

deshalb sind sie mir als erstes ins Netz gegangen.

I like the veil tail goldfish very much and therefore

they went into my net first.

Dann nochmal als Geschenkpapier-Rapport...

then as a gift paper rapport....

Dann kam ein wilder ungeordneter Fischschwarm daher...

Then a wild disordered shoal of fish came along ...

.... der für manchen Oktopus ein leckerer Happen ist, mit oder ohne Köder....

For some .... octopus a tasty morsel, with or without bait ....

... tja und manchmal wird man selbst zum Köder...

and ... well sometimes you will even be the bait ...

Und  nicht vergessen bei Michaela vorbeizuschauen, um zu sehen, 

wer oder was bei den anderen ins Netz gegangen ist!

Als Christiane von bikelovin mich fragte, ob ich Lust hätte beim

Bloggerpoesiealbum mitzumachen und mich dort auf einer 

Doppelseite zu verewigen, habe ich natürlich sofort JA gesagt.

As Christiane von bikelovin asked me if I would like to 
join the blogger poetry album and create a  
double side, I naturally said YES immediately.

Und dann kam das Paket randvoll mit den tollsten Dingen.

Einmal natürlich das Buch selbst, aber noch ein Schächtelchen

mit allerlei wundersamen Dingen und ein Mappe mit Papieren,

Landkarten, alten Werbeseiten etc. Das reinste Schlaraffenland

für einen Collagisten wie mich!

And then the package was packed with the most amazing things.
Once, of course, the book itself, but still a little box
with all sorts of wondrous things and a folder with papers,
Maps, old advertising pages, etc. The purest cockaigne
for a collagist like me!

Erstmal natürlich all die anderen fertigen Seiten der bisherigen

Teilnehmerinnen begutachten und das lohnt sich auf jeden Fall,

hier findet ihr die link-ups und ich kann nur empfehlen da mal

Ich habe erstmal das komplette Material gesichtet, verliebte

mich in die Ergee Ballett Strumpfbeine und wusste, was 

ich wollte... und das passende "Oberteil" war dank meines

Flohmarktfundes (Das grosse Tierlexikon, siehe oben) von Sonntag 
dann auch bald gefunden.

I first spotted the complete material, fell
in love with the Ergee ballet stocking legs and knew what
I wanted ... and the matching "upper part" was found soon
thanks to my fleamarket discovery 
(The Great Animal Encyclopedia, see above) from Sunday.

that just fits perfekt.

Das hat wirklich Spaß gemacht und nun geht das Blogger-

Poesiealbum weiter auf die Reise...

Wie die Zeit vergeht... GIVEAWAY!

Ich habe mal gehört, dass man je älter man wird, desto schneller rast die Zeit. 
Demnach bin ich schon uralt, denn schon wieder sind 20 Collagen entstanden, ohne dass ich es recht gemerkt habe. Nicht, dass ich immer Lust oder gar eine Idee dafür hatte, aber nun habe ich mal verpflichtet und bin schon so weit gekommen, da werde ich nicht aufgeben.

Obwohl ich manchmal denke, dass sie immer schlechter werden, 
aber dann gucke ich sie mir an und denke "na, vielleicht doch nicht...." 
Ganz offensichtlich ist mir jeder Sinn für die Realität flöten gegangen.

Wenn Ihr wieder Lust habt Euren Senf dazuzugeben und mir zu verraten, welche diesmal euer Favorit ist (mehrfach Nennungen sind erlaubt), dann freue ich mich wie immer riesig.

I've heard that the older you get, the faster time races. Accordingly to this, 
I must be very old, because again 20 collages are created, without that I really noticed it. 
Not that I ever want or even have an idea for it, but now I have commited 
myself to this project and come so far, I will not give up.

Although I sometimes think that they are getting worse, 
but then I look and think "well, maybe not ...."  
Obviously any sense of reality went down the drain.

If you're in the mood again to tell me your favorite (multiple answers are allowed)
than it is a great pleasure to me as always.

Drawing Challenge NATURE

 This weeks theme for our dc NATURE choosen by our wonderful tinyWoolf is a real challenge because of its endless possibilities. As always having too many ideas swirly around in my head, seeking nature and bringing bits and pieces of it back home...

I started with a simple collage (above) with scraps of nature drawings out of my collection of old books  to assemble different aspects of nature and highlight just one.

 On my daily dog walks in the forrest my eyes were caught of all this little ? no idea how they're called "leaves of pine cones" left behind from very productiv squirrels and I started to collect and glued them into a material collage

here some details...

Yesterday evening collecting the 2nd round of "leaves" 3 dogs were heavenly barking at me as they passed by, I guess they were concerned about this weird woman crowling over the forrest floar and I believe her owner did the same... and I thought 

"so what, I'm an artist I can do that, normally can everyone, normal is boring".

So if seeking and playing with nature ends up in finding the true nature/center 

of yourself this is a good thing I assume...

 ... and talking about collecting on my yesterdays trip to a fleamarket which takes 

places a couple of times at a recycling yard I found this old landscape painting which 

seemed to me a gift of heaven for this drawing challenge and I altered it my way 

playing with the romantic idea of nature, reality and humans habit to 

map everything out maybe to feel safer if you always know were you are...

... and hung them into my bedroom and this way combined

this weeks challenge with last weeks. HA!

not to mentioned how much fun I had with this theme - thank you dear Nadine -

Heute stechen wir in See, was bedeutet eine kleine Pause für diesen blog.

Und wer eine Reise tut, der hat viel zu erzählen.

Natürlich werde ich jeden Tag weiter meine Collagen machen,

ich bin halbwegs vorbereitet (wie man unten sehen kann),

DC proverb - saying - Sprichwort

Dieses Wochenende hat uns die liebenswerte und talentierte Patrice das Thema "Sprichwort" gegeben. Dazu fallen mir gleich ein paar ein, aber hier das, was vermutlich am besten zu mir paßt:

This weekend, the lovely and talented Patrice gave us the theme of "proverb/saying". Quite a few came to my mind, but here the one, which probably suits me best:

In truth, the reality is quite different

Ob es nun der schöne Schein in Hollywood ist, wo alterslose Schönheiten nur durch Sport 
und gute Ernährung faltenlos jung aussehen oder im Leben allgemein.

Man sollte lieber mal genauer hinschaun.

Mit den verschieden "Realitäten" spiele ich gern ein bisschen mit meinen Collagen, die aus ihrer "normalen" Wirklichkeit herausgenommen und in eine neue hineingesetzt werden, mal mehr oder weniger realistisch und manchmal nah am Original oder eben auch überhaupt nicht. Ich hatte schon häufiger überlegt, ob ich mal vorher-nachher-Bilder zeigen sollte. Hier kommt so ein Beispiel...

Whether it's the beautiful appearance in Hollywood where ageless beauties look only  
through sports and good nutrition young and wrinklefree or life in general.
One should rather look more accurate.


I like to play with the different "realities" in my collages, which are taken out of their "normal" into  a a new reality and sometimes more or less realistic and sometimes close to the original or indeed not at all. I had thought many times before, if I should even show before-and-after pictures.  

So here is an example ...

 Der sommerleicht Spaziergang auf der Uferpromenande am Meer 

(ich liebe übrigens Etretat, Honfleur und die Atlantikküste!)....

  The easy summer stroll on the seaside promenande 

 

 

...  entpuppt sich in Wirklichkeit vielleicht doch als etwas ganz anderers ...

... turns out to be in reality, something totally different...

und wenn es um meinen Sohn geht, dann trifft dies am ehesten zu:

Diese Woche hat die wunderbar Stefanie das Thema für die dc ausgesucht: FILLIP.
Und dieses Thema hat mir in echte Schwierigkeiten bereitet, Ansporn - Anreiz - Fingerschnippen...
Fingerschnippen war nicht mein Thema und zu Anreiz/Ansporn fiel mir viel zu viel ein...

Weitere kreative Highlights gibt es hier und ich bin auch schon sehr gespannt, wie ihr die Herausforderung gelöst hat, immer wieder überraschend.

This week the wonderful Stefanie has chosen the theme for the dc: Fillip.

And this topic has given me in real trouble, incentive/motivation, snap of the fingers ... 
Snap of the fingers was not my topic and "fillip" was too much for me.

More creative highlights, there are here and I'm also very curious how you solved the challenge, always surprising.

Hi dear friends,

I've completed another "page" with 20 Collages, only 305 more to go. Haha.
But I've learned already a few things along the way:

☞ it's good to set yourself a goal even if it seems to big to manage. Like a saying that even a walk of 1000 kilometers starts with one step. One step at the time. I guess you can transfer it to everything else in life too. Big things broke down into small steps aren't that overwhelming anymore.

☞ making things public encourage you to keep on going, on one hand it would be too embarrassing to fail and on the other hand it helps to get a little feed back to move on. Thanks to all of you going along with me on that journey!

☞ it's good to have a little goal every day, even if you don't have any idea at the beginning or not in the mood at all, if you start it finally and miraculously works out!

So thank you for joining the party and please tell me, which one is your favorite of page "3".
