Especially for lovely Sandra
the recipe: (and for everyone else of course!)
Fallen apricot cake
Ingredients:
6-8 apricots (I used much more and covered the whole ground and I think this is perfect)
250 g butter
50 g brown sugar
75 g almonds
125 g sugar
3 eggs
200 g flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
150 ml orange juice
How you do it:
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C ambient air.
Wash and halve the apricots and remove the seeds. 50 g butter melt and pour into the baking pan so that the ground is covered. Sprinkle with the brown sugar and the almonds and then place the apricot halves side by side. Stir he rest of the butter and sugar until fluffy, add gradually the eggs. Slowly add the flour and baking powder and orange juice add so much until a smooth, spreadable dough. Pour the mixture over the apricots, flatten and in the oven about 45 minutes. Allow to cool and turn it upside down before serving on a cake plate.
Enjoy!
Yesterday we went to a tiny fleamarket and I found a cute little globe (shining) (4,- Euro) a book (0,50) and this wonderful summer Shell Bracelet (1,-) and a dinosaur game for my son (3,-). HAA!!!
Could it be any better! That made my day!
On our walk through the forrest we found this little slow worm - cute!

Dear Jane, dear Sandra, was a pleasure to post the recipe - if you have something delicous and typical to share - please post it!
Yes I really like lit up globes, especially the old ones! My son has a bigger one and I now intend to collect some more for a nice home globe installation.
This cake looks so good!! thanks for the recipe- I wrote it down to save for a bit later in the summer when we get fresh apricots closer to home- one of my favorite fruits! :)
