Das grosse Nass / the big WET

Nic of luzia pimpinell  called today for "big wet" and  after holiday you brought a
suitcase of such images, at least if you were at the sea.

A great opportunity to show a few photos of our 2nd holiday week in Normandy / France.
Unfortunately, this leads me to immediate thoughts of escape.
Someone who has a bag of money for me, I want to GO again!

das soll Himmel UND Meer sein, aber es war so diesig, dass man kaum einen Unterschied erkennen konnte

Tunesia Part 5 - Oasis

The next day was raining and this the hole day. Could you image to have so much rain in the dessert? First we went to Chott El Djerid which is a hugh salt lake and than to an amazing and pretty Oasis "Nefla" close to the Algerian boarder.

Tunesia Part 4 - Camel Riding

Still Matmata -where they filmed part of "Star Wars"

Camel riding in Douz a Oasis in the dessert of south west Tunesia. Exciting. My first time on a camel. When you sit on them and they stand up it's a littlebit like a on mini rollercoaster - funny.

2 Day Round Trip in Tunesia

Last weekend we started a 2 days bustrip more or less to half of Tunesia, which meant that we had to stay long long time in the bus......exhausting, but with interesting things to see.  Our first stop was El Djem wich is one of the worlds largest Colosseum of Roman Empire. Tunesia was in the early days conquered by  Romans,  so a lot of citys have a roman and an arabian name today.

Australia?

No, still Africa.

We're back from Hammamet, Tunesia

As we arrived the weather was cold, grey and windy! What a shock. But the next day was fine. And what cold means I knew since we are back (yesterday). Brrrr
We had a lot of fun and swimming in the ocean was great.
More photos will follow ...
