dc Garland

Our special and incredible Nadine has invited us
this week to dc with the theme Garland.
At Ikea , I was still excited about the idea a garland of small plush ratssewn together,
but reason prevailed,
not to waste my money with any of these rats, which then eventually laying
around everywhere and chewed by the dog later.

So why not a gingerbread cockies Garland ?

Good idea, especially as long as my son is not there yet, otherwise I can
at the end just shoot a blank tape.
On the package is indeed durable until 08.28.2014 , but that's not true.

Here they never keep that lon .

Haha, witzig.

I 'm not a fan of this fall / winter weather , on the contrary I feel rushed totally,

because only it is not really bright and then you have to hurry because it's getting dark
again. For thus here you see the daylight version. Haha, funny.

Therefore only flashlight helps , that you even will notice that there are biscuits.

Or make photos in the dark right away - of which we here have plenty,
Sunrise 8:31 h - 15:59 h Sunset -
and indeed a shining star garland and candles etc.
make the darkness bearable and comfortable.

Verwackelte sieht es noch viel besser aus

Shaky ones are even better

Und endlich zum 3. Advent dann auch leuchtendes im Garten
And finally to the 3rd Advent something shining in the garden

Ich wünsche Euch allen ein gemütlichen 3. Advent,
Barbara

Also nicht vergessen bei Nadine vorbeizuschauchen und all die anderen kreativen
Garlands zu bewundern.

I wish you all a cozy 3 Advent, do not get stressed, but eat more cookies. The whole room smells  now like gingenbread- that's not bad .Helps to cure the winter blues.
Barbara

So don't forget to go to Nadine to admire all the other creative garlands!

;)))
and i too, would love to eat the cookies, before their time, straight from the line even. i'd have no problem doing that...

your image with the moving stars, of course, steals the show.
great effect!

Ah the lack of light- it's coming to an end and we will soon be able to celebrate it getting lighter later...even though it feels like a long time-
cookies! how can one go wrong there right!!
hang tight and stay in the light :)

I can sympathize with your short-day-winter-blues, Barbara! We gotta have lots of lights, eh! Yes, Gingerbread is one of the best parts of the season. I baked mine last couple of days - YUMMY!
Blessed Advent to you! -sus

Liebe Mano,

Hey, B. I love your Garland. I would say a tasty garland. I have an idea for you, you can give one part of that garland to each guest and everyone eats his part ja ja
I can not imagine such as Christmas and New Year with cold and snow. Here always is very hot for the holidays, we eat cold foods and drink cold things too. (it is summer) is terrible for those who must disguise of Santa Claus, with over 32 degree heat Ha Ha!

yes Barbara, i do know what you mean, that lack of natural light has to be remedied by lots of candles and other lights and your photos tell me you surely did so.
cookie garlands wouldn't last for long here either ;)
fortunately from next week on the days will slowly get a little longer, a comforting thought no? :)

I always love coming to visit your home Barbara. The candlelight makes it welcoming and lovely. Oh those gingerbread cookies in a garland. Oh my!!! I need to race to my kitchen cupboard and see if I can find some kind of cookie in there right this minute! Best greetings to you, hugs, Norma, x
