Muster-Mittwoch - Blüten

Blütenreich geht es weiter am Muster-Mittwoch bei Michaela 

und das ist ja im Moment auch mehr als passend bei blauem Himmel, 

Sonnenschein und richtigem Sommerwetter

und dazu spriesst und blüht es an allen Ecken und Kanten, 

weshalb Frühling auch meineabsolute Lieblingsjahreszeit ist 

und wenn das Wetter dann noch so mitspielt, was gibt es da groß zu meckern.

Floriferous it goes on  at Pattern Wednesday at Michaela's 

and that is at the moment  more than suitably with blue skies,  

sunshine and proper summer weather and with all that sprouting and  

flowering  at all corners and edges, which is why spring
is my absolute favorite time of year and if the weather is this way, 

 there is nothing to complain about.

Meinen "Arbeitsplatz" habe ich deshalb kurzerhand nach draussen verlegt, 

denn mein neues Daybed muß gehörig ausgenutzt werden 

(ich glaube, meine Nachbarn sind schon ganz neidisch ; ) )

My "workspace" I have therefore unceremoniously moved to outside,

 because my new daybed must be duly exploited  

(I think my neighbors are quite envious; ))

Mit Skizzenbuch, Buch und Bleistift bewaffnet geht es los.

Das Buch, das mir als  Vorlage diente ist übrigens das 

"Botanik für Künstler" vonSarah Simblet, dass ich nur empfehlen kann. 

Hier habe ich schon mal Auszüge daraus gezeigt. 

The book, which I used as a template is  by the way the 

"Botany for Artists" by Sarah Simblet that I can only recommend. 

 Here I have already shownextracts from it.

Bei den zauberhaften Zeichnungen im anderen Heft handelt 
es sich NICHT um Arbeiten von Maria Sybilla Merian, 
wie lange Zeit vermutet wurde, sondern sie

stammen von einem unbekannten Maler Namens 
Hans Simon Holtzbecker aus Hamburg und seine Arbeiten werden 
ab Sonntag im Schloß Gottorf in Schleswig zu sehen sein.

Dazu wird auch ein Katalog Gottorfer Codex erscheinen, bestimmt grosse Klasse.

Ich will mir die Ausstellung unbedingt ansehen und werde darüber berichten.

The other magical drawings in the other magazin are NOT of
Maria Sybilla Merian, as has long been suspected, but 
by an unknown painter named Hans Simon Holtzbecker from Hamburg
and his works will be on display from Sunday on  in Gottorf Castle in Schleswig.
For this purpose a catalog Gottorfer Codex will appear, I'm sure it will be awesome.
I want to see this exhibition and will report on it.

Interessant, was man dann auf den Fotos entdeckt, was man vorher gar nicht wahrgenommen hat,wie z.B. dieser eine kleine grüne Kerl, 

der dem anderen die Schuld geben will, nach

dem Motto "Ich wars nicht!". 

Interesting what you then discover in the photos, what you have not  

noticed before, such as this one little green guy 

who wants to blame the other, according to
the slogan "It wasn't me!".

drawing challenge MEMORY

Diesmal bin ich spät dran mit der drawing challenge zum Thema 

"memory" von der überaus talentierten Kristen ausgewählt. 

Glücklicherweise schwelge ich immer noch in Erinnerungen 

an unseren Belgientrip, so dass dasThema gerade sehr gut passt.

This time I'm late with the drawing callenge on "memory"  

selected of the immensely talented Kristen. Fortunately

I still revel in memories of our belgium trip, so that 

this theme fits very well. 

Aber am Samstag war so tolles Wetter, dass ich nicht nur in Erinnerungen 

schwelgen wollte, wie z.B. ein belgisch-französisches Frühstück mit

selbst importiertem Kaffee und frisch gekochter Erdbeer-Rharbarbara Marmelade,

sondern auch selbst neue schaffen.

Nämlich indem ich endlich "mein Daybed" auf der Terasse aufgebaut habe,

was ich eigentlich schon vor 2 Jahren tun wollte, aber nicht realisiert habe,

weil es mir zu aufwendig erschien. Nicht das Aufbauen, sondern wohin mit

dem ganzen Plunder wenn es regnet?!

But on Saturday was great weather so that I not only wanted to

indulge memories such as a Belgian-French breakfast
with self imported coffee and fresh cooked strawberry- rharbarbara jam,
but also even create new ones.
Namely, as I have finally  built "my daybed" on the terrace,
what I really wanted to do 2 years ago, but did not realize  

because it seemed too complicated.  

Not the building, but what to do with all the rubbish when it rains?

Was soll ich sagen: Es fühlte sich grossartig an und ich werde es nicht nur nutzen, 

wann immer ich kann, sondern mich immer gern an diesen Moment erinnern!

What can I say: It felt great and I will not only use it,
whenever I can, but I always like to remember this moment!

Erinnerungen können trügerisch sein, je nach Tagesform denkt man manchmal, dass

das Leben eigentlich immer schon schwierig und übel war und an guten Tagen denkt

man "Ach, was hatte ich doch für ein Glück und einen Spaß!".

Digitalkameras und bloggen hilft finde ich alles in ein 

realistischeres Bild (Erinnerung) zu setzen, 

denn dadurch, dass man nicht nur große Momente wie Geburtstagsfeiern,

Urlaube festhält, sondern die ganz alltäglichen kleinen Momente, die das Leben

ausmachen und die oft zukünftige schöne Erinnerungen bergen können.

Memories can be deceptive, from day to day sometimes one thinks that
life was actually always been difficult and evil and on a good day
 you think "Oh, what I had a stroke of luck and fun!".
Digital cameras and blogging helps I find to set up everything  

in a more realistic picture (memory)
because the fact that you not only capture great moments such 

as birthday parties, Vacations, but the everyday little moments which
life is all about can make many future happy memories.

Mit meinen Collagen aus alten Familienfotos spiele ich ja auch 

mit diesen Erinnerungen, die ich völlig neu und manchmal absurd

 interpretiere oder völlige neu auslege, weil ich die Leute 

auf den Fotos vielleicht nicht mal selbst kennen gelernt habe...

Aber es gibt auch Erinnerungen an Sonntage im Stadtpark (Hamburg) 

auf dem Spielplatz und dem Rondeel-Teich. 

Auch wenn die Fotos aussehen, als seien sie aus dem 19. Jahrhundert,

waren es genau genommen die 70er ; )

Habt ihr mich gefunden?

With my collages from old family photos I play also
with these memories that I interpret completely new and sometimes absurd
   or complete re-interpret, because I might not even know

 the people in the photos ...

But there are also memories of Sundays in the City Park (Hamburg)
on the playground and the Rondeel pond.
Although the photos look as if they were from the 19th century,
it were, strictly speaking, the 70ties )
