Japanese Inspiration

If you are looking for a little inspiration on furnishing and/or designed studios, I can only recommend to look at édition paumes. Yesterday these 3 books arrived, Bureaux à la Maison, Paris Creative Couples and Stockholm's studio , the last one is my favorite, I think. But hard to tell they are all true treasures of inspiration full of creative places that one can not get enough and gets a totall Flash and now wants to set up everything again.
Even if everything is written in Japanese, which is of course to look very pretty, but I can not read, of course. The images compensate for everything and it certainly will not be the last purchase I ordered there.

Its Showtime!

As you might image, we are rather distracted at the moment. Getting the dog house-trained is a real challenge, especially since its owners are still in the learning stage. But it will and she is a real sunshine!
AND we still could not decide on a name. Luna is not such a bad name, but a friend told that every 2nd Dog here is name like that. Grrr.
With my two boys and me, there are always at least one that says NO.
And we had a lot of nice, funny and interesting names, to name a few:
Ginger or Amber (because of her colour), biscuit, cookie or muffin (because she is soo sweet), Amy, Ayla, Coco, Loulou, Aimee, Enya - all NO, right now we are more going for Yumi (which is japanese and means beauty) or Ivy and my son still is for Scruffy (which is more a boys name and difficult to pronounce, I think).
You see it is no end in sight.

Welcome our new baby!

Today is our 1st Doodle-Day.
Yesterday we drove 300 km to Bavaria to buy our Doodle. The ride was hell since the beginning of Dutch holidays which had nothing better to do than to block the A3 (highway) south (for ski holidays). The first 150 km took us 3 hours!
But it was worth it, we have absolutely the sweetest dog that you can even imagine! She is very soft, sweet and loving - we have taken the girl.
The boy was very sweet too, but a real bully, that was a bit too hard for us!
Here are the first impressions of our new "dangerous predator".
My son is for " Luna", but I'm not really convinced. I'm searching for an even cuter name ...

Goldendoodle says "I love you."

Yes we can! 
 Our landlord gave us his o.k. - hopefully we don't go so crazy to force our dog to speak!
On the other hand, isn't he too cute.

Dog or no Dog

... that is the question. We want to buy a dog, more precisely, a mini Goldendoodle, but so far our landlord refuses. GGGGGRRRRRRRRrrr. If I were a dog now, I would probably piss him against his leg or bite into it.
Keep your fingers crossed that they will accept it finally.

Has anyone experience with Goldendoodles?
Any ideas for names? We can not agree and have not had the ultimate idea yet.

NOTE: For the Diamond X stitch you can have 3, 4, 5, or more signatures if you want. Regardless of what I say in the video. HOWEVER, the more signatures you have the more juggling you will do when it comes to holding them all together throught the first few stations.

Monday

Mondays are always a stressful day for me, so only a few random impressions from last week.

I wish you a great start to the week and for those of you who don't like Mondays a Boomtown Rats Song      might seem appropriate.

Following your Intuition

Yesterday wrote  Ansku listen to your body, rather than following any prescribed rules. I found this very true and I converted that for me into: You should follow your intuition.
 
I can fully identify with the testimony of a Korean artist Eu-Nim-Ro, which once said: 
"Before me is a hole, next to me is a hole, I'm surrounded by nothing but holes."
That really describes my life perfectly.
Therefore, I decided yesterday to follow my intuition which told me I should go to the water.
I did it, and the mood and the light was wonderful and I've found the guy who always makes the stone sculptures. We  had a very stimulating conversation until it was too dark to photograph the stone creatures.

What are your experiences with head and heart?
Is it possible for you to flow freely, and always following your intuition or are you stumbling over your brain that is constantly trying to get in your way?

Sunny sunday fleamarket finds

On sunday the weather was great, bright sunshine, blue sky and mild temperatures (for February). A perfect day for the monthly fleamarket, which is at every 1st sunday of the month.
I can say I'm quite pleased with my finds....
I really love these old pharmacy metal boxes and all the rest. I think this little silver shark is so cute.

Before & After

Here are some before and after photos of our little village. 2 weeks ago we had flooding and now everything is gone, within 2 weeks, a level of approx 4 Meters height. Where did all the water go? And everything is so clean, did they brush it with a toothbrush?
See the difference?

I have to add that we live  far away enough from the water that we were not affected.  
So no reason to worry about us.
